A Busy Term

What a fun start to the term.  We looked at the artist Natasha Wescoats work and used this to inspire us with our winter trees.  We used hot and cold colours to create the background and ripped black paper to make the ground and tree trunk.  We then used a black pen to make our swirling tree trunks.  We are so impressed with our results.

We have been learning about The Gruffalo in Scots language and now know the names for owl, little mouse and fox - hoolet, wee moose, tod.  What funny names!  We worked with our shoulder partner to make a Gruffalo and give it a kilt.  We think the Gruffalo should always wear a kilt.
